Wisconsin FFA Practice Test

The purpose of a Leadership Development Event (LDE) is centered on developing and practicing leadership skills. These events are designed specifically to help FFA members enhance their abilities in areas such as public speaking, teamwork, decision-making, and communication. By participating in LDEs, students have the opportunity to learn and refine these essential skills in a competitive yet supportive environment. This focus on leadership development aligns with FFA's mission to empower students and prepare them for future leadership roles in agriculture and related fields.

While competing with other schools, earning money for the chapter, and showcasing individual talents may be part of the overall experience, they are secondary outcomes to the primary goal of honing leadership abilities. The emphasis is on personal growth and practical application of leadership techniques that can be utilized both within the organization and in broader contexts outside of FFA.
